Rhode Island School of Design Fleet Library Second Floor Renovation

The Fleet Library at RISD is a place for inquiry, inspiration and research. The library occupies the first and second floors of 15 Westminster, a historic building in downtown Providence. Site Specific renovated several spaces on the second floor, including the Visual + Material Resource Center and the Center for Arts and Language. The scope of work including remodeling an existing open area to create offices and collaborative work space, demising of a single space to create separation for an incoming department, and new lighting, finishes, and furniture throughout. In the Visual + Material Resource Center, a historic ceiling detail was preserved and restored.
