The Wheeler School Summer Projects
Site Specific worked with The Wheeler School on four fast-track projects to help them prepare for an in-person return to the school. These renovations met all RIDOH and CDC guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of students and faculty. On the City Campus, we renovated existing spaces of the Health Center into additional wellness and exam rooms to treat students. On the Wheeler Farm Campus, work at the Columbine Hill House included an interior renovation to fit out a new early learning center with restrooms. Additionally, the Field House was transformed into additional temporary classrooms for the 6th grade, and a modular deck was added to an existing building to increase outdoor learning space for students.
