The Wheeler School Hope Building
Site Specific worked very closely with The Wheeler School to bring a refreshed vision for the Hope Building to life. To accommodate the school calendar, Site Specific and the architectural team transformed this historic building that houses Wheeler’s Middle School in two summer phases. The scope of work included new lighting, finishes, furniture, MEP upgrades, leading-edge technology, updated science labs, a new classroom suite for enrichment courses, an updated lobby, and a completely new collaboration and gathering space on the first floor. The collaborative relationship between the school, architect and builder were crucial in circumnavigating the challenges of meeting a tight timeline on an urban campus.
