Ahead New Bedford

Site Specific partnered with Ed Wojcik Architect to deliver an interior renovation project for AHEAD’s corporate headquarters in New Bedford, MA. To maintain uninterrupted operations, the project was broken into multiple phases, with Phase 1 work being conducted on second shift. Work involved complete renovations to the company’s open office space including new furniture, flooring, millwork, and MEP systems. Extensive coordination with Ahead’s furniture vendor was required to correctly core floors for new power and low voltage cabling. A key architectural detail of this renovation included a custom stainless-steel railing and cabling system. Phase two of the work included the renovation of existing perimeter and mezzanine level offices.
