Vedanta Society of Providence

Site Specific collaborated with Kite Architects to revitalize and expand the Vedanta Society of Providence on Angell Street. A section of the existing structure was dismantled to accommodate a new, larger area. The addition now encompasses three guest rooms with private bathrooms on the ground floor, while the first floor hosts a meditation space. The former library and children's room now functions as a dedicated lecture hall and bookstore. Remarkably, the building remained operational throughout the construction phase, with many materials salvaged for reuse in the updated premises.
